In
hearings, organized together with the Institute of Euro-Atlantic cooperation
took part People´s Deputies, representatives of the Cabinet of Ministers,
Ministries and Departments, Public Organizations.
The participants of the meeting discussed the state, achievements and perspectives of relations between Ukraine and EU in migration-visa spheres. In particular the attention was pointed to the issues of the parliamentary dimensions in the relations between Ukraine and EU in visa sphere, activity of the Government of Ukraine regarding the implementation of the conditions necessary for the implementation of visa free regime for short-termed visits to EU countries for the citizens of Ukraine, achievements and perspectives of negotiation process regarding the legislative process regarding the visa-free regime for such trips.
B. Tarasiuk emphasised that visa free dialogue between Ukraine and EU is held according to four main directions: provision of documents security, fighting with illegal migration, readmission in particular, support of the public order and security, external relations and securing of the fundamental citizens rights.
According
to the hearings recommendations bill, the Parliament is recommended to provide
property scrutiny and in-time adoption of the bills, submitted by the President
of Ukraine and Cabinet of Ministers in the framework of the obligations
execution, necessary for the rejection og visa regime for Ukrainian citizens in
EU. The participants of the hearings deem it necessary to elaborate as soon as
possible and adopt in the entirety the laws: on protection of personal data
(Reg. No2273); on amendments to certain legislative acts regarding the
legislation infringement on information protection on an individual (personal
data) (Reg. No5438); on Concept of state migration policy in Ukraine (Reg.
No5085-1); on amendments to certain legislative acts of Ukraine on migration
matters (Reg. No2232), that impalements in Ukraine an institute of asylum and
strengthens the liability for the migration rules infringement.
